Offered to adult rowers with experience who enjoy the freedom of getting out on the river independently. Members are provided with access to the finest boats, rowing machines and club room as well as all the social events of the club. Members are able to book boats directly online at times that are convenient and have their own membership fob to access the club and a dedicated Membership Manager to ensure all runs smoothly.

Our coached memebrship ensures that you will have two coached sessions available each week to help gain experience and confidence and lead you all the way to successfully compete at regattas throughout the country. As well as this, there is a dedicated Membership Manager to ensure all runs smoothly.

Indoor membership is suitable for those looking to improve their fitness, strength and rowing technique using the club’s dedicated indoor training room.The training room is equipped with 11 state-of-the-art rowing machines, resistance weight equipment and is fully air-conditioned. Membership also provides access to all of the social news and events of the club.

Junior membership is offered from Year 9 and above. Membership includes access to all weekly junior sessions for the academic year, providing the opportunity for each individual to develop their sculling skills on the water and compete at events throughout the year. Due to current Covid restrictions, sessions run Monday to Friday 4:15pm -5:30pm and 5:30pm -7pm and all day on Sunday. Our race group are currently completing up to 3 sessions a week and our Skills and Fitness group are doing up to 2 sessions a week. We expect the number of available sessions to increase from September 2021.

By being a Friend of FRBC you will be directly helping support the ambitions of thousands of young people along the River Thames. You will be kept up-to-date on all of the latest developments with the charity and invited to our key events throughout the year.
