A gentle summer row from Fulham Palace to Hampton Court Palace, and back again!
Challenge yourself to row a Marathon and take on 26 miles for charity! Enjoy the summer sites of the river, stopping for refuels and grabbing a team photo outside the iconic Hampton Court Palace!
The Row Palace to Palace event is a recreational rowing challenge in aid of Fulham Reach Boat Club. The aim is to create an annual all inclusive event that raises funds for the innovative sport for good work that takes place at Fulham Reach Boat Club (FRBC). At FRBC sport is used as a development tool for a cross-section of the community, through projects like Boats Not Bars, Free Water Sport Weeks and State School Rowing programmes, which are designed to support those in financial hardship or social circumstances and helps them realise their full potential both on and off the water. Open to all rowers from experienced to novice crews. We can offer a full range of boat types from tub quads to eights, so hopefully there is something for everyone or bring your own boat. If you're a non rower and want to take part, take up one of our Learn to Row courses at Fulham Reach to get you marathon row ready! Half Marathon and Tag Team distance are also available!
