Racing update - Pairs Head

Our member Sophia shares her experience of Pairs Head 2023.

“What an amazing day - flat calm water, sunshine, a newly restored double… what could be better? Having just completed our first Pairs Head, with the amazing Linnea steering us calmly through a mele of 400 small boats, and grateful for the game-changing sessions we put in with Mark over the last few weeks, I reflected on how lucky I was to be here: at a fabulous club full of wonderful people, taking part in such an iconic event.  And what an incredible journey the last two years have been, since learning to row in 2021.”

Member Sophia, who raced with Linnea in boat number 284, reflected on her experience at the Pairs Head. We also had Andrea and Eze racing in boat number 96.
