FRBC Shortlisted for two london sport awards
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Fulham Reach has been shortlisted for two prestigious awards at the London Sport Awards 2024 in partnership with the City of London Corporation! Our nominations include the Environmental Impact and Sustainability in Sport Award, and the Uniting London Award, for our Boats Not Bars Programme.
The Environmental Impact and Sustainability in Sport Award recognises activities that raises awareness of climate issues and sustainability and have a positive impact on the planet. The Award celebrates those who have used innovative approaches to deliver sport and physical activity in London’s communities.
The Uniting London Award recognises those who promote diversity, equality and inclusion throughout their work in physical activity and sport. Our Boats Not Bars programme is run by World champion rower, ex GB athlete and FRBC Prisons Manager; Imogen Walsh, and aims to rehabilitate offenders, reduce reoffending, and create inclusive communities through the power of sport.
Congratulations to our fellow finalists!
Huge thanks to the FRBC team, our members, board, schools, prisons, partners, Friends of FRBC, and the wider FRBC Community for their continuous support.
