Festive Fun River Run kicks off Christmas
FRBCs Inaugural Festive Fun River Run
We were thrilled to see so many of you out on the course! We had 90 Festive Fun River Runners who helped to raise over £5,000 so far, for Fulham Reach Boat Club’s Youth, Criminal Justice and Community work.
It was a wonderful way to start the run up to Christmas, taking in the River Thames bank side, Santa Suits and reindeers all around, mulled wine, a Christmas Fair at Riverside Studios and everyone seemed to really enjoy the festive fun.
We are thrilled to have launched this event with your support this year, which we hope will become a festive community staple for years to come.
Adam Freeman-Pask, who ran with his son said "It was a wonderful community event, it really kicked off Christmas and helped get in some early training for the Christmas shopping dash".
A huge thanks to Riverside Studios for providing their wonderful venue to us, Kier for providing our PPE for the event, Wild Bush Fulham for generously sponsoring our Most Festive dog prizes, Tesco Fulham Reach for sponsoring our water station, Fulham Running Club for sharing running event expertise, the Riverside Business Group and all our incredible Marshals and Volunteers for making the day possible.
Huge thanks to Brian Goulding for all the wonderful photos, we'll be share more of these, so watch out on our social channels.
We are making plans for the Festive Fun River Run 2024 to be bigger and even better, so really hope you'll all join us in kicking off Christmas with this special festive annual fundraising event.
