BBC Radio Interview with Imogen on Boats Not Bars
Listen to BBC Radio London with Imogen Walsh Talking About Boats Not Bars' London Sport Award Nomination.
“Prison research has shown if you can increase things like your resilience, your sense of agency, your motivation to change, your interpersonal trust; if you can increase those characteristics, you’re less likely to re-offend… your confidence is like a muscle, you need to test the limits of it to make it stronger; and that’s what we do through the programme and then increase all those other characteristics that mean someone is going to be more able to cope on release.”
On Tuesday 20th February, Imogen Walsh, World champion rower, ex-GB athlete and FRBC Prisons Manager, was speaking on the Eddie Nestor Show on BBC Radio London about Boats Not Bars’ nomination for the London Sport Award for the Uniting London Award.
