We're closed again...for now
We're sure you’ll all be aware by now but it’s with huge regret that we have to announce that the site is once again temporarily closed following the Government’s announcement to enter a third national lockdown.
We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has played their part over the last nine months in helping FRBC get through the C-19 crisis. Our members, team, board, donors, schools, prison service and L2R participants have all had a part to play and we know that with the community we have around FRBC today, we will once again come through this setback and be back on the water ASAP.
Whilst we may be off the water, we will be holding plenty of online sessions and socials and focussing on the days getting lighter, it will shortly be getting warmer and we will all be back on the water together again in 2021!
We know that this is disappointing news and restricting access to the river is the exact opposite of why FRBC exists. The team are coming up with contingency plans to help all of our community be active from home and we all can’t wait to have our thriving boat club back on the banks of the Thames soon.
We’ll update the website and our social channels as soon as we have anymore news. If anyone has any questions or would like to get in contact please email [email protected].
