Trinity College and Burlington Danes Academy are Teaming up!
Our latest fundraising adventure will be taking place between current and former students of Trinity College, Oxford and current students at Burlington Danes Academy.
On the 3rd November, students from both institutions will be teaming up together to row a marathon distance of 26 miles from Wallingford to Oxford in an effort to raise funds for both Trinity College Boat Club and Burlington Danes Academy Boat Club. Following this, the students from BDA will then have a tour around Oxford University and finish the day in the Dining Hall of Trinity with all of the current students.
This as a tremendous link between a key Oxbridge College and one of our partner schools and yet another example of how the power of sport can bring people together behind a common goal. Have a look at the photos to see when Trinity were kind enough to host students from BDA on the first leg of a 100 mile relay row from Oxford back to FRBC in 2016 to give you a feel of what we’re trying to achieve.
