The Ultimate Team Building in London

Posted on Thu, 6 Jun, 2024

While the weather is good, what better opportunity for your team to get out the office and to join us on the water?

We offer the ultimate team building and well-being sessions in London at our award-winning charity and community boat club, situated next to Hammersmith Bridge, 5 min walk from Hammersmith Tube Station, and right in the heart of the famous Oxford Cambridge Boat Race Course.

A recent McKinsey Health Institute survey found 60% of employees report experiencing at least one mental health challenge in their lives.

Our sessions promote mental well-being through sport, our own research indicates the importance people place on the mental health benefits of being on the water rowing, and according to leading environmental psychologist, Dr Mathew White, “Blue space has an edge over other natural environments – water has a psychologically restorative effect.”

Our Team Building sessions last 3 hours and take place from Monday to Friday, they include learn-to-row and fun race activities, which also promote building teamwork, leadership, and confidence in each other.

If you want to see what it's like here is a short video, the fancy dress is up to you!

Fulham Reach Boat Club is also nestled alongside wonderful riverside pubs and restaurants so perfect for refreshments afterwards.

“I had such a wonderful time learning to row with the Fulham Reach Boat Club! Many laughs and memories made learning a new skill and working as a team together,

I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun different activity and would love to do it again.” Senior Leadership Team member, Sweaty Betty

If that wasn’t a good enough reason to join us your event also supports our local charity work, which improves young lives through rowing and can also support your CSR objectives.
