Marathon Row

An unbelievably sunny day greeted the 18 brave members of FRBC who were taking part in a fundraising marathon row on Sunday 2nd Feb.  The aim of the day was to complete 26 miles of rowing, take in the sights of Westminster and raise £6,000 in the process to help build a new gym.

Thanks to the precision timing of our Head Coach, German, the day went incredibly smoothly and, although chilly, everyone arrived at the finish line in Richmond with smiles almost as broad as the challenge itself!

Most pleasing of all is that we have surpassed the £6,000 target and the new equipment will be installed at the club in the coming days.
