Junior Squad 2024/25
Following a successful 2023/24 year we are excited to share advanced information on our Junior Squad for 2024/25.

Places will be opened up to existing Junior Squad members first in mid August, with remaining places opened up to the waiting list and general public soon after, around late August. Our Autumn term runs from 2nd September to 20th Decemember, excluding the October half term.
This year we have refined the structure of the junior rowing programme to more effectively deliver the aims and objectives of each squad. This year there will be five junior squads, but they are slightly different in nature and have slightly altered expectations of the athletes.
The squads, costs and timings are as follows:
SENIOR SQUAD (£317 Per Term)
Juniors who are committed to consistent training and who are looking to target some of the larger races throughout the season. Slightly higher training volume and a necessity to supplement training in own time. Training will also include before school sessions. Recommended ages J16-18 and attendance rate of 90%. 4 sessions per week on Tuesday 17:00 to 18:30, Thursday 06:00 to 7:30 and 17:00 to 18:30, Sunday 07:00 to 9:00.
INTERMEDIDATE SQUAD (£245 Per Term)
Juniors who cannot commit to the higher level of training, but who still want the ability to race at some of the local races during the season. Recommended ages J15-18 and attendance rat of 80%. 3 sessions per week on Monday 17:00 to 18:30, Wednesday 17:00 to 18:30, and Sunday 09:00 to 11:00.
RECREATIONAL SQUAD and a RECREATIONAL SQUAD GIRLS ONLY (£147 Per Term)
Juniors who want to come and go for a row once a week but who aren’t willing or able to commit to the higher levels of training or attendance required of the other groups. Recommended ages J15-18 and attendance of 50%. 1 session per week on either sunday at 13:00 to 14:30 or 14:30 to 16:00. Note one of these Recreational Squads is 'Girls Only' and will be led by an all female coaching team.
JUNIOR 14 / BEGINNERS (£293 Per Term)
J14 rowers who are learning to row or develop their rowing technique. Or J15s who are new to rowing and want to improve their skills. Recomneded ages J14-15 and attendance rate of 50%. 2 sessions a week at Wednesday 17:00 to 18:30 and Sunday 11:30 to 13:00.
