We are very proud to be hosting a monthly schedule of Community River Clean Ups and Water Quality tests this year.

Following the amazing recognition for FRBC’s environmental work with winning the BASIS Community Impact and British Rowing Environmental Sustainability awards, its a great time to get involved!

Joining in is a great way to get down on the foreshore, get close to nature and discover things you didn’t know about our river and the wildlife that lives there. Importantly is is also a great opportunity to help remove the things that shouldn’t be there too, such as plastics, glass, rubbish and sometimes the odd bit of treasure!

These events are great for people from across the community so bring friends, work colleagues and/or school groups and help us to make a difference to our river habitat. 

Over the last two years we have removed about 1,000kg each year. 

Can we top this in 2026?
