Introduction to Youth Squad 2025-26
Hello Youth Squad Parents,
I'm absolutely delighted to be leading our Youth section this year and wanted to take a moment to introduce myself! I've been with Fulham Reach Boat Club for nearly two years now, involved in various coaching and managerial roles, most recently as Bookings Officer – so some of you might know me from arranging private sessions.
My own rowing journey started at Sons of the Thames and Lea Rowing Clubs, and I even earned a runner-up spot for British Rowing Community Coach of the Year in 2023, thanks to some wonderful parent nominations! I also coach at Westminster School and lead a special rowing group for Orthodox Jewish women.
I'm incredibly passionate about rowing and creating a supportive environment where young people can truly thrive, focusing not just on physical development, but also mental resilience, communication, and teamwork. My goal, alongside the coaching team, is to model clear, respectful communication and best practice in everything we do.
