Henley Womens Regatta Race Report

Two junior crews plus and two adult crews competed at the prestigious Henley Women’s Regatta alongside Olympians like Gold Medal winning Imogen Grant!

First off was Mar who rows with Sacred Heart School, one of our local state schools. She competed in the Di Ellis Trophy for Junior Single Sculls and did brilliantly completing the time Trial in 6 minutes and 24 seconds, just 7 seconds away from being the first ever junior crew from FRBC to qualify for side-to-side racing at either Henley. Having just jumped into the single a couple of months ago this is an amazing achievement to be that close and as a Year 12 can return next year. Then came Vita and Michela in the Rayner Cup for Junior 2x and had a very solid row on their first race at Henley Women’s. All the junior women had a brilliant day and hopefully we’ll be back in 2026 with our top junior crews again.
