FRBC & Tier 4 - 19th Dec Update
Following the Government’s advice that London will be moving to Tier 4, we have made the call to postpone all remaining sessions booked in between Sunday 20th and Wednesday 23rd December. From midnight tonight, the club will also be closed for all recreational sculling.
We’re yet to have direct guidance from British Rowing but we know that Tier 4 for London means:
• Closure of Leisure Facilities
• Closure of Indoor Gyms
• Stay-at-home order
With these three points in mind we think it’s likely that rowing will be suspended again and so want to make an early call to give you all a chance to adjust your plans. As ever, all of the current sessions will be honoured and this is expected to be in early January. We will of course give you a more detailed update as soon as we know more and if recreational sculling is allowed we’ll get this back up and running.
Thank you all once again for your understanding during all of this and we’ll get you back out on the water as soon as we possibly can!
Steve
