Desborough Challenge Race report

At the start of June our adult crew of Sean, Liv, Irene, David, and Louise took on the Desborough Challenge.

This was an exciting first race for David. Their boat " Stroke of Genius" won a great battle with two other boats finishing the 6km course in a raw adjusted time of 38min 52 sec.

Irene said "It was hilarious and fun, describing it as a non-stop party boat",

Sean added "the race was a unique challenge of boatmanship skills with navigating obstacles in the course and doing a crew swap halfway through."

What a great challenge event for adult learn to row grads to cut their teeth into. Thanks for the club at Weyfarers for hosting a fab event.
