Barnes & Mortlake race report

What a fantastic showing from our adult members at the recent Barnes & Mortlake Regatta on Saturday! We're so proud of everyone who took to the water, embodying the spirit of teamwork and perseverance that Fulham Reach Boat Club champions.

A huge congratulations to our women's quad who rowed their way to victory, bringing home a well-deserved pot! Kate Tatham shared the excitement, noting how they beat some strong crews, including two from Quintin and Oxford Amateur BC. Their journey to the start line was an adventure in itself, battling gusty winds and needing to empty water from the boat – true dedication!

Bryan's crew also had a great experience on the water, demonstrating their commitment and enjoying the competitive atmosphere. While it was disappointing that some of our smaller boats, like the double and pair, couldn't race due to oversubscription, the enthusiasm and effort from all our crews were truly inspiring
