Fulham Reach Boat Club (FRBC) is an award-winning sport for good charity situated on the waterfront in Hammersmith. We provide rowing opportunities for individuals who wouldn’t ordinarily get the opportunity to try rowing, focusing on three key impact areas: Youth Development, Crime Reduction and Accessible Rowing.
As part of our Accessible Rowing mission we aspire to ensure that rowing is accessible to everyone. FRBC are thrilled to offer a 10 week rowing opportunity called ‘Row the Rhythm’ which is open to people (18+) with a visual impairment.
Over the 10 weeks you’ll be taught how to row on the land and on the water. You’ll learn about safety on the water and the river environment. You’ll be taught by professional coaches who will work at your pace. Rowing on the Thames in London can provide freedom of movement, a sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of city life and off the water a community of people that just want to row.
